Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Allah Almighty says:) "And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they deliver their burden." (I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):) Is this ruling for a woman divorced three times, or for a widow? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is for the woman divorced three times and also for the widow."
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Muthanna bin al-Sabbah, whom Ibn Ma'in declared thiqah (trustworthy) and the majority declared da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) differed with me about a pregnant widow. I said: "When she gives birth, she may be married." Then my umm walad, Umm al-Tufayl, told me and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had instructed Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah: when Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah had given birth, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her to marry.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain is hasan (good), except that Busr bin Sa'id did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah bint al-Harith gave birth fifteen days after the death of her husband. A man called Abu al-Sanabil came to this woman and said: "Perhaps you are preparing to marry again. You have no right to that until the term that ends later is completed." The woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) what Abu al-Sanabil had said. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu al-Sanabil has spoken wrongly. When someone comes to you whose proposal you are pleased with, then come to me, or bring me word of him." (Here the narrator is unsure about one word.) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told the woman that her waiting period had ended.
Ahmad recorded it. Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (11451)»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When a woman is divorced and it is thought that her menstruation has now stopped, but this is not clear from her, she will wait for one year. If she does not menstruate during that time, then after the year has passed she will observe a waiting period of a further three months. If she menstruates during those three months, then she will observe the waiting period by menstrual cycles. But if she menstruated and that menstruation was not completed, and this happened after the three months following the year had passed, then that woman will not hasten in her own matter until she knows whether her menstruation has been completed or not."
