وَعَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ : نَازَعَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فِي الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ ، فَقُلْتُ : تُزَوَّجُ إِذَا وَضَعَتْ ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ الطُّفَيْلِ أُمُّ وَلَدِي لِعُمَرَ وَلِي : قَدْ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ أَنْ تَنْكِحَ إِذَا وَضَعَتْ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ بُسْرَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ .

Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) differed with me about a pregnant widow. I said: "When she gives birth, she may be married." Then my umm walad, Umm al-Tufayl, told me and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had instructed Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah: when Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah had given birth, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her to marry.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain is hasan (good), except that Busr bin Sa'id did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him).
