عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ : قَلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( وَأُولَاتُ الْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ) لِلْمُطَلَّقَةِ ثَلَاثًا أَوِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا ؟ قَالَ : " لِلْمُطَلَّقَةِ ثَلَاثًا وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا " .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَاحِ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَاحِ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .
Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Allah Almighty says:) "And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they deliver their burden." (I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):) Is this ruling for a woman divorced three times, or for a widow? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is for the woman divorced three times and also for the widow."
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Muthanna bin al-Sabbah, whom Ibn Ma'in declared thiqah (trustworthy) and the majority declared da'if (weak).
