Reports on intercourse, what is said at it and covering oneself

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded me not to have intercourse with my wife in the first days of the month, not to perform ablution (wudu) from a brass vessel, and to use the tooth-stick (miswak) whenever I wake from sleep.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydah bin Hassan, who is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected).

Sayyiduna Abu Kabshah al-Anmari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came among his companions, then went away and performed a ritual bath (ghusl). They said: "O Messenger of Allah! Did something happen?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. A woman passed by me, and desire for my wife arose in my heart, so I went to my wife and was intimate with her. The finest means of protection among your deeds is that a man (fulfils his desire) in a lawful way."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it with the words: "So do likewise." The narrators of Imam Ahmad are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: There was a woman in Madinah who was a perfume seller. After this the narrator mentioned the complete hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which will come in the chapter on the virtue of a man being intimate with his wife.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Jarir bin Ayyub al-Bajali, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked one of his companions: "Have you visited a sick person today?" He replied: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Have you given anything in charity?" He replied: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Have you prayed a funeral prayer?" He said: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Have you been intimate with your wife?" He said: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should have done so; it would have been charity from you to her." The narrator says: This was on a Friday.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Nadr bin Asim bin Hilal al-Bariqi, whom I do not know. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is any one of you unable, when he goes to his wife, to say: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannibni wa jannib ma razaqtani min al-shaytan al-rajim' (In the name of Allah, seeking blessing; O Allah, keep me, and what You provide me (that is, offspring), away from Satan the accursed)?" (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "If a child is destined for that husband and wife, Satan will never be able to harm it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid al-Alhani, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given al-kafit. The narrator says: I asked al-Hasan: "What is meant by al-kafit?" He said: "Intercourse." Ibn al-Athir says: al-kifat means intercourse. The narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abd al-Salam bin Asim al-Razi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I have been given a capacity in this respect such that, to my knowledge, no one has been given the like of it, except that the case of the Messenger of Allah is different. (The narrator says:) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) meant the capacity for intercourse.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have been given the strength of forty men in grip and in intimacy, and every believer is given the strength of ten men. Desire has been divided into ten parts, nine of which are in women and one in men. Were it not for the modesty that has been placed upon women along with their desire, every man would have had nine wives with an intense longing (for marital relations)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Mughirah bin Qays, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The difference between a woman's pleasure and a man's pleasure is like the mark of a needle in clay, except that Allah Almighty has veiled women with modesty."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ahmad bin Ali bin Shawdhab, whose biography I have not found anyone giving; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you goes to his wife, he should screen himself. If he does not screen himself, the angels will leave out of modesty, and if a child is born to the two of them, Satan will have a share in it."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it. He declared al-Bazzar's chain da'if (weak). The chain of al-Tabarani contains a narrator, Abu al-Munib, the student of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, whose biography I have not found anyone giving. The narrators of al-Tabarani are thiqat (trustworthy), and some of them have been criticised in a way that does no harm.

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you comes to his wife, he should screen himself and should not become completely naked."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Mandal bin Ali, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy. Imam al-Bazzar says: Mandal erred in reporting this narration as a marfu' hadith (attributed to the Prophet); the correct view is that
this narration is mursal (with the Companion missing). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you comes to his wife, he should screen himself and his wife, and they should not become completely naked like donkeys."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ufayr bin Ma'dan, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated and a woman was with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to that woman: "My impression of you women is that you tell one another what your husbands have done with you?" The woman said: "Yes! By Allah! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! We (women) do that." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do so! For Allah Almighty is angry with the one who does that." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I think that when the husband of one of you women comes to her, they remove the quilt from over themselves so that each looks at the other's private parts, as if the two of them were donkeys?" The woman said: "Yes, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you! We do that." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do so! For Allah Almighty is angry at that."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mas'ud al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Uthman bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I feel shy that my wife should see my private parts." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Why is that? Allah Almighty has made you a garment for her and made her a garment for you." He said: "But I dislike it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yet my wives see mine and I see theirs." He said: "You are the Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am." He said: "What can be said of anyone after you?" The narrator says: When Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) had gone, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ibn Maz'un is a shy and modest man who keeps himself covered."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin al-Ala', who is matruk (abandoned).
