Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and some men and women were sitting with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does it happen that sometimes a man relates what he does with his wife, and sometimes a woman relates what she has done with her husband?" The people remained silent. I said: "Yes! By Allah! O Messenger of Allah! The men do this, and the women do it too." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do so! Its likeness is that of a male devil who meets a female devil and begins to have intercourse with her while people are watching."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab; his chain is hasan (good), and there is weakness in him.

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "It may well happen that a man will be alone with his wife; he will close the door, then let down the curtain, then fulfil his desire, and then he will go out and tell his companions about it. Does not any one of you women fear that she closed her door and let down her curtain, and when she has fulfilled her need, she then tells her female friends?" A woman whose cheeks were dark (or a blackish red) said: "By Allah! O Messenger of Allah! The women do this and the men do it too." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do so, for its likeness is that of a male devil who meets a female devil on the road, fulfils his desire with her, then goes off and leaves her there."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it through Rawh bin Hatim, who is da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Al-shiba' is forbidden." Ibn Lahi'ah says: By this the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant boasting about intercourse.
Imam Ahmad and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Darraj, whom Yahya bin Ma'in declared thiqah (trustworthy) and a group declared da'if (weak). Ibn al-Athir says: The word is "al-siba'", with the letter "sin", and according to one view it is with the letter "shin".
