وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَعْجِزَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا أَتَى أَهْلَهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ : بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي وَجَنِّبْ مَا رَزَقْتَنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ، فَإِنْ قُدِّرَ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ أَبَدًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is any one of you unable, when he goes to his wife, to say: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannibni wa jannib ma razaqtani min al-shaytan al-rajim' (In the name of Allah, seeking blessing; O Allah, keep me, and what You provide me (that is, offspring), away from Satan the accursed)?" (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "If a child is destined for that husband and wife, Satan will never be able to harm it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid al-Alhani, who is da'if (weak).
