Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, and with him were Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). The door was closed. I came and sat down on the ground. They remained inside for some time, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out. I climbed the steps and entered the House of Allah, and I asked: "Where did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray?" They told me: "Here." The narrator says: I forgot to ask how much the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih".
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Abd al-Rahman bin al-Zajjaj narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Shaybah bin Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Abu Uthman, people say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah but did not pray in it." He replied: "They are wrong. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs between the two pillars, and then pressed his stomach and his back against them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Abd al-Rahman bin al-Zajjaj, and I have not found anyone who has written his biography.

Musafi' bin Shaybah transmits this statement from his father, Sayyiduna Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah and prayed two rak'ahs. He saw some images in it and said: "O Shaybah, get rid of these images for me." This was difficult for Sayyiduna Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him), so a man from the people of Persia said to him: "If you wish, I will coat them over with saffron." And he did so.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; I have not found anyone who has written the biography of the narrator Musafi'.
