بَابُ فَجِئْتُ فَقَعَدْتُ بِالْأَرْضِ فَمَكَثُوا فِيهِ مَلِيًّا فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَقَيْتُ الدَّرَجَ فَدَخَلْتُ الْبَيْتَ فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ؟ قَالُوا : هَاهُنَا ، وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ : كَمْ صَلَّى ؟ .

وَعَنْ مُسَافِعِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي : أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ[ الْوُسْطَى ] مِنَ الْبَيْتِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَفِي الْبَيْتِ - أَوْ قَالَ : الْكَعْبَةَ - ثَلَاثُ أَسَاطِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Musafi' bin Shaybah narrates: My father transmitted from my grandfather that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray two rak'ahs by the middle pillar of the House of Allah. The narrator says: In the House of Allah (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) in the Ka'bah, there were three pillars.
