Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5762

The umm walad of Sayyiduna Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him), who had the honour of pledging allegiance at the blessed hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyiduna Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he opened the door. When he went inside, he bowed (or he leaned down) and placed his forehead (on the ground).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The narrations about praying in the Masjid al-Haram and elsewhere will come in the chapter on the virtue of Madinah, if Allah wills.
