Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any two Muslims (husband and wife) three of whose children die, Allah Almighty will admit both of them (husband and wife) to Paradise by the grace of His mercy towards those (children)." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! And if two have died?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if two (the same reward will be attained)." The people said: "And if one has died?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if one (the same reward will be attained)." Then he said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, the stillborn child will drag his mother by his umbilical cord to Paradise, if she hoped for the reward on account of him."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded this part of it: "Indeed the stillborn child" — from there to the end.
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it. Its chain contains Yahya bin Ubaydullah al-Taymi; I did not find anyone who declared him trustworthy or criticised him.

Hassan bin Kurayb narrates: A child of theirs died, and the child's parents were deeply grieved. Sayyiduna Hawshab (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), said: "Shall I tell you what I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say? He said it about the death of a child like your son. One of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a son who had begun to crawl, and he used to come with his father to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the child died, and out of grief over his death that man did not come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for six days. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'I do not see so-and-so.' The people said: 'O Messenger of Allah! His child has died and he is grieving over him.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to that man: 'O so-and-so! Would you like your child to be with you now as the liveliest of children? Or would you like your son to be with you as the boldest of boys? Would you like your son to be with you, grown into middle age like the best of men of middle age? Or that it be said to you: Enter Paradise as the reward for what was taken from you?'"
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, and there is criticism about him.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Do you love him?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! May Allah Almighty love you as I love him." Then once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) noticed his absence and asked: "What has become of so-and-so, son of so-and-so?" The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! He has died." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the child's father: "Would you not like that whichever gate of Paradise you come to, you find him at that gate waiting for you?" A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! Is this for him specifically, or for all of us?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(No,) rather it is for all of you."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man from the Ansar had a son, and whenever that man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the child would come with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the man: "Do you love this child?" He said: "O Prophet of Allah! Yes. May Allah Almighty love you as I love him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty loves me more than you love him." Some time later the child died. The man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whereas before he used to bring his son with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Did you grieve and lament?" He said: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you not pleased that your son should be with my son Ibrahim, playing with him beneath the shade of the Throne?" The man said: "Yes indeed, O Messenger of Allah!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Ibrahim bin Ubayd from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). If this narrator named Ibrahim is Ibrahim bin Ubayd bin Rifa'ah, then he is one of the narrators of the Sahih, and it appears that it is him, because I did not find anyone among the Tabi'un named Ibrahim bin Ubayd. This narrator is da'if (weak), and the rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
