Hisham bin Urwah narrates from his father, from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) came in to her, and with me were two young Ansari girls singing. They were reciting what the Ansar had said to one another in the Battle of Bu'ath, and the two of them were not (professional) singers. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The musical pipe of Satan in the house of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? And that was the day of Eid. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Bakr, every people has an Eid, and this is our Eid day."
