It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that (his) maternal aunt was divorced three times. She went out to cut (the fruit of) date palms, and a man met her and forbade her. She came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned that to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go out and cut your dates, for perhaps you will give charity or do some good." Muslim narrated it.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The date palms of the Ansar were close to their homes, and they would cut the dates in the morning.
Muslim recorded it.

It is narrated from Yahya bin Sa'id: It reached me that Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) died, and his wife came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). She mentioned the death of her husband, and also mentioned to him their farmland, which was at a place called Qanah, and asked him whether it was proper for her to spend the night there. He forbade her from that. So she would leave Madinah before dawn, spend the day on their farmland, being there in the morning, then when evening came she would enter Madinah and spend the night in her own house.
