Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: By Allah, I will lead you in a prayer like that of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) would recite qunut in the second rak'ah of the morning prayer after saying 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah' (Allah has heard the one who praised Him), in which he would supplicate for the believers and supplicate against the disbelievers.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the qunut for one month after the bowing (ruku'); he (peace and blessings be upon him) would supplicate against some of the tribes of the Arabs.
Hadith Referenceالسنن الكبرى للبيهقي / كتاب الصلاة / 3122
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone asked him: "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite the qunut (al-nazilah) in the morning (Fajr) prayer?" He said: "Yes." Then he was asked: "Before the bowing or after it?" He said: "After the bowing, for a short while." The narrator said: I do not know whether the short thing he mentioned was the qunut or the standing.
These are the words of the hadith of Sulayman, and in the hadith of Musaddad it is that Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite the qunut (al-nazilah) in the morning prayer before the bowing or after it?" He said: "After the bowing, for a short while."

Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite the qunut in the morning prayer?" He said: "Yes, after the bowing." Then he was asked: "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite the qunut in the morning prayer?" He said: "Yes, after the bowing, for a short while."
Hadith Referenceالسنن الكبرى للبيهقي / كتاب الصلاة / 3124
Asim al-Ahwal said: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) about the qunut, and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the qunut." I said: "Before the bowing or after it?" He said: "Before the bowing." I said: "So-and-so reports from you that you said: after the bowing." He said: "That man is mistaken. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the qunut for one month, and that was after the bowing. What happened was that he (peace and blessings be upon him) had sent seventy reciters (qurra') from among the Companions to a people of the polytheists (Banu Amir) (to teach them), but a people of the polytheists other than those killed them. There was a covenant between them and him (peace and blessings be upon him), but they broke the covenant, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) kept supplicating against them for one month."
(b) Likewise in this narration it is reported from Asim al-Ahwal that the qunut after the bowing was only for one month, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) was supplicating against those who killed the reciters; and this gives the impression that the qunut before and after that was only before the bowing.
(c) Abd al-Aziz bin Suhayb narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) about the story of the reciters that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated against them for one month in the morning prayer.
And that was the beginning of the qunut; we did not recite the qunut before that.
(d) Then Abd al-Aziz narrated that a man asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) about the qunut: is it after the bowing or upon finishing the recitation? He said: "No, rather it is upon finishing the recitation."
(e) And it has reached us from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), in a report other than the story of the reciters, that the qunut of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was after the bowing. The same is reported from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his back from the bowing, he would say: 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa laka al-hamd' (Allah hears the one who praises Him; our Lord, and to You belongs all praise). Then he would supplicate for people, naming them by their names, and he would say: 'Allahumma anji al-Walid' "O Allah, save al-Walid bin al-Walid, and save Salamah bin Hisham, Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah and the weak among the believers. O Allah, tighten Your grip upon the disbelievers of Mudar and keep this punishment upon them for a long period." The people of the tribe of Mudar were at that time opposed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both)) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), after raising his head from the bowing in the Fajr prayer, saying: "O Allah, curse so-and-so and so-and-so." He would say these words after saying 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah' (Allah hears the one who praises Him) and 'Rabbana wa laka al-hamd' (Our Lord, and to You belongs all praise). Then the Exalted Lord revealed this verse: "Not for you is anything of the matter." [Surah Al Imran: 128]
Hadith Referenceالسنن الكبرى للبيهقي / كتاب الصلاة / 3127
Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate against Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him), Suhayl bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) and al-Harith bin Hisham (may Allah be pleased with him), so this verse was revealed, from "Not for you is anything of the matter" up to "wrongdoers" [Surah Al Imran: 128]: "O Prophet, nothing of the matter is in your hands. If Allah Almighty wills, He may accept their repentance or punish them, for they are wrongdoers."

Hadith Takhrij«ضعيف۔ اخرجه ابن المبارك في الجهاد 57»
(a) Sayyiduna Khufaf bin Ima' (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed. Then, after raising his blessed head from the bowing, he said: "O Allah, forgive the tribe of Banu Ghifar, and keep Banu Aslam safe. Usayyah disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. O Allah, curse Banu Lihyan, and send Your curse upon Ri'l and Dhakwan as well." Then he went down into prostration. Khalid said: The cursing of the disbelievers was done for this reason.
(b) In Sahih Muslim it is that Khufaf said: 'fa-ju'ilat' (so it was made), and it is reported from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he gave a ruling (fatwa) that the qunut is recited after the bowing.

(a) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "recited the qunut for one month." I asked: "At what time?" He said: "After the bowing."
(b) The qunut is to be recited after the bowing.
(c) The saying of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "He recited the qunut for only one month," refers to supplicating against and cursing. And Allah Almighty knows best.
(d) The narrators of reciting the qunut after the bowing are more numerous and firmer in memory, so this is better, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them) also acted upon it. Well-known narrations are reported from them.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) recited the qunut after the bowing. Then people's homes became far apart. The people came to Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) with a request that the qunut in the prayer be recited before the bowing, so that people could join the prayer; so he recited the qunut before the bowing.
Khulayd bin Da'laj is not used as evidence, and what has preceded is sufficient.
