Hadith Beginning with the Letter Ta (ط)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague is the remnant of a punishment that was sent upon a group of the Children of Israel. So if it breaks out in a land while you are there, do not leave it fleeing from it, and if it breaks out in a land while you are not there, do not go there."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague is martyrdom for my Ummah, and it is the piercing of your enemies from among the jinn. It is a swelling like the swelling of a camel, which comes out in the armpits and the lower parts of the belly. Whoever dies of it dies a martyr; whoever patiently stays where it is will be like one guarding the frontier in the path of Allah; and whoever flees from it will be like one who flees from the battlefield."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague is martyrdom for every Muslim."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague is a swelling like the swelling of a camel. The one who stays where it is will be like a martyr, and the one who flees from it will be like one who flees from the battlefield."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague was a punishment that Allah would send upon whomever He willed, but Allah has made it a mercy for the believers. There is no one in whose town the plague breaks out and who stays there, patient and hoping for reward, knowing that nothing will befall him except what Allah has decreed for him, except that he will have a reward like that of a martyr."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague, drowning, disease of the belly, burning, and death in childbirth are martyrdom for my Ummah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The plague is the piercing of your enemies from among the jinn, and it is martyrdom for you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Food for food, like for like."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Dying from a spear wound, the plague, being crushed under a collapsed building, being devoured by a wild beast, drowning, burning, disease of the belly, and pleurisy are martyrdom."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Circumambulation (tawaf) of the House is prayer, but Allah has made speech lawful in it, so whoever speaks should speak nothing but good."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Circumambulation (tawaf) around the House is like prayer, except that you may speak during it; so whoever speaks during it should speak nothing but good."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Circumambulation (tawaf) is prayer, so speak little during it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Purity is half of faith. Saying 'Alhamdu lillah' (All praise is for Allah) fills the Scale, and 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah) and 'Alhamdu lillah' fill what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light, charity is a proof, patience is illumination, and the Qur'an is an argument for you or against you. Every person rises in the morning and goes out selling his soul, and either frees it or destroys it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The right of divorce is in the hand of the one who takes hold of the shin."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Even birds fly according to divine decree."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Taking bad omens is shirk."
