«سآمرك بأمرين أيهما فعلت أجزأك عن الآخر وإن قويت عليهما فأنت أعلم إنما هذه ركضة من ركضات الشيطان فتحيضي ستة أيام أو سبعة أيام في علم الله ثم اغتسلي حتى إذا رأيت أنك قد طهرت واستنقأت فصلي ثلاثا وعشرين ليلة أو أربعا وعشرين ليلة وأيامها وصومي فإن ذلك يجزيك وكذلك فافعلي كل شهر كما يحضن النساء وكما يطهرن ميقات حيضهن وطهرهن وإن قويت على أن تؤخري الظهر وتعجلي العصر فتغتسلي وتجمعين بين الصلاتين الظهر والعصر وتؤخرين المغرب وتعجلين العشاء ثم تغتسلين وتجمعين بين الصلاتين فافعلي وتغتسلين مع الفجر فافعلي وصومي إن قدرت على ذلك وهذا أعجب الأمرين إلي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will command you with two things; whichever of them you do will suffice you in place of the other, and if you are able to do both, then you know best. This (bleeding) is merely one of the kicks of Satan. So count six or seven days as menstruation according to the knowledge of Allah, then take a ritual bath (ghusl), until when you see that you have become pure and clean, pray for twenty-three or twenty-four nights and their days, and fast; this will suffice you. And do the same every month, just as women menstruate and become pure at the times of their menstruation and purity. And if you are able to delay the Zuhr and hasten the Asr, then take a ritual bath and pray both prayers, Zuhr and Asr, together; and delay the Maghrib and hasten the Isha, then take a ritual bath and pray both prayers together, then do so; and take a ritual bath with the Fajr, then do so; and fast as well if you are able. And this is the more preferable of the two to me."

"The one who gives the people water to drink should drink last of them."

«سألت الله الشفاعة لأمتي فقال: لك سبعون ألفا يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب ولا عذاب قلت: رب زدني فحثا لي بيديه مرتين وعن يمينه وعن شماله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I asked Allah for intercession for my Ummah, and He said: For you there are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning and without punishment. I said: O Lord, give me more. So He scooped out (more) for me with both His hands twice, and also from His right and from His left."

"I asked Jibril: Which of the two terms did Musa (peace be upon him) fulfil? He said: The more complete and more perfect of the two (he fulfilled)."

I asked my Lord not to destroy my Ummah by famine, and He granted it; I asked Him not to destroy my Ummah by drowning, and He granted it as well; and I asked Him not to put their hostility among themselves, and He did not grant it to me."

"سأل موسى ربه فقال: يا رب ما أدنى أهل الجنة منزلة؟ قال: هو رجل يجيء بعدما يدخل أهل الجنة الجنة فيقال له: أدخل الجنة فيقول: أي رب كيف وقد نزل الناس منازلهم وأخذوا أخذاتهم؟ فيقال له: أترضى أن يكون لك مثل ملك ملك من ملوك الدنيا؟ فيقول: رضيت رب فيقول: لك ومثله ومثله ومثله ومثله فقال في الخامسة: رضيت رب فيقول هذا لك وعشرة أمثاله ولك ما اشتهت نفسك ولذت عينك فيقول رضيت رب! قال: رب فأعلاهم منزلة قال أولئك الذين أردت غرست كرامتهم بيدي وختمت عليها فلم تر عين ولم تسمع أذن ولم يخطر على قلب بشر"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Musa (peace be upon him) asked his Lord: O my Lord, who will be the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise? Allah said: He will be a man who comes after the people of Paradise have entered Paradise, and it will be said to him: Enter Paradise. He will say: O Lord, how, when the people have settled in their places and taken their shares? It will be said to him: Would you be pleased to have the like of the kingdom of one of the kings of the world? He will say: I am pleased, O Lord. Allah will say: For you is that, and as much again, and as much again, and as much again, and as much again. At the fifth time he will say: I am pleased, O Lord. Allah will say: This is for you and ten times as much besides, and for you is everything your soul desires and your eye delights in. He will say: I am pleased, O Lord. Musa (peace be upon him) asked: O Lord, then who will be the highest of them in rank? Allah said: They are the ones whom I have chosen; I planted their honour with My own hand and set a seal upon it, (such blessings) as no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and the thought of which has never crossed the heart of any human being."

«سباب المسلم فسوق وقتاله كفر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Abusing a Muslim is sinfulness, and fighting him is disbelief."

«سبحان الله إنك لا تطيقه ولا تستطيعه هل قلت: اللهم آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah)! You do not have the strength for it, nor can you bear it. Did you not say (this supplication): 'Allahumma atina fi al-dunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab al-nar' (O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire)?"
"'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah)! You do not have the strength for it, nor can you bear it. «سبحان الله بئسما جزتها نذرت لله إن نجاها الله عليها لتنحرنها لا وفاء لنذر في معصية الله ولا فيما لا يملك العبد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah)! What an evil reward she gave it! She vowed to Allah that if Allah saved her on it (the she-camel), she would slaughter it, (whereas) no vow is fulfilled in disobedience to Allah, nor in something that the servant does not own."

«سبحان الله ماذا أنزل الليلة من الفتن؟ وماذا فتح من الخزائن؟ أيقظوا صواحب الحجر فرب كاسية في الدنيا عارية في الآخرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah)! What trials have been sent down tonight? And what treasures have been opened? Wake the women of the apartments, for many a woman who is clothed in this world will be naked in the Hereafter."

«سبحان الله ماذا أنزل من التشديد في الدين والذي نفسي بيده لو أن رجلا قتل في سبيل الله ثم أحيي ثم قتل ثم أحيي ثم قتل وعليه دين ما دخل الجنة حتى يقضى عنه دينه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah)! What severity has been sent down regarding debt! By the One in whose Hand is my soul, if a man were killed in the path of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, then killed, while he owed a debt, he would not enter Paradise until his debt was paid off on his behalf."

«سبع يجري للعبد أجرهن وهو في قبره بعد موته: من علم علما أو أجرى نهرا أو حفر بئرا أو غرس نخلا أو بنى مسجدا أو ورث مصحفا أو ترك ولدا يستغفر له بعد موته»

"There are seven deeds whose reward keeps reaching the servant in his grave after his death: whoever taught knowledge, or made a stream flow, or dug a well, or planted a date palm, or built a mosque, or left a copy of the Qur'an as inheritance, or left behind a child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death."

«سبعة يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله: إمام عادل وشاب نشأ في عبادة الله ورجل قلبه معلق بالمسجد إذا خرج منه حتى يعود إليه ورجلان تحابا في الله فاجتمعا على ذلك وافترقا عليه ورجل ذكر الله خاليا ففاضت عيناه ورجل دعته امرأة ذات منصب وجمال فقال: إني أخاف الله رب العالمين ورجل تصدق بصدقة فأخفاها حتى لا تعلم شماله ما تنفق يمينه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seven people Allah will shade in His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His: a just ruler; a young man who grew up in the worship of Allah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosque, so that when he leaves it (his heart) remains attached until he returns to it; two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting on that and parting on that; a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes overflow with tears; a man who is called (to sin) by a woman of status and beauty, and he says: I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds; and a man who gives charity and conceals it so much that his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent."

"Seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning: they are those who do not have themselves cauterised, nor cauterise others, nor seek (non-Shari'ah) incantations (ruqyah), nor take bad omens, and they put their trust in their Lord."

"The prescribed term has reached its end; propose marriage to her, (addressing) her herself."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"One dirham has surpassed a hundred thousand dirhams: a man who has two dirhams takes one of them and gives it in charity, and another man who has much wealth takes a hundred thousand from his wealth and gives it in charity."

«سبقكن يتامى بدر ولكن سأدلكن على ما هو خير لكن من ذلك: تكبرن الله على إثر كل صلاة ثلاثا وثلاثين تكبيرة وثلاثا وثلاثين تسبيحة وثلاثا وثلاثين تحميدة ولا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير»

"The orphans of Badr have surpassed you (in receiving charity), but I will direct you to something better for you than that: after every prayer say Allahu Akbar thirty-three times, say Subhan Allah thirty-three times, say Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and (then say): 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, He has no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things)."

"Among the signs of the Hour are six (things): my death; the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis; a man being given a thousand dinars and considering it insufficient; a trial whose heat will enter the home of every Muslim; a death that will spread among the people like the plague of sheep; and the Romans breaking their covenant, then they will march with eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand (soldiers)."

"The screen between the eyes of the jinn and the private parts of the children of Adam is that when one of them takes off his garment, he says: 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)."

«ستصالحون الروم صلحا أمنا فتغزون أنتم وهم عدوا من ورائهم فتسلمون وتغنمون ثم تنزلون بمرج ذي تلول فيقوم رجل من الروم فيرفع الصليب ويقول: غلب الصليب! فيقوم إليه رجل من المسلمين فيقتله فيغدر القوم وتكون الملاحم فيجتمعون لكم فيأتونكم في ثمانين غاية مع كل غاية عشرة آلاف»

"You will make a secure peace with the Romans, then you and they will fight an enemy behind them, and you will be safe and take spoils. Then you will camp in a meadow with hills, and a man from the Romans will stand, raise the cross and say: The cross has prevailed! Then a man from the Muslims will rise up to him and kill him. Then the people will break the covenant and there will be great bloody battles; they will gather against you and come at you under eighty banners, under each banner ten thousand (soldiers)."

"Soon there will be rulers, and you will approve (some of their deeds) and disapprove (others). So whoever disliked (it in his heart) is free (of blame), and whoever objected (openly) is safe; but whoever was pleased and followed is not free (of blame)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"After me there will be imams who delay the prayer from its times. Pray it on time, and then if you are present with them at the prayer, pray (with them as well)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"After me there will be favouritism (preferring one's own) and matters you will disapprove of." The Companions asked: Then what do you command us? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fulfil the right (that is due) upon you, and ask Allah for (the right that is) yours."

"After me there will be many evils; so whoever you see separating from the community (jama'ah) or trying to divide the affair of the Ummah of Muhammad, whoever he may be, kill him, for the Hand of Allah is with the community, and Satan runs alongside the one who separates from the community."

"Soon there will be a trial in which the one sitting will be better than the one standing, the one standing will be better than the one walking, and the one walking will be better than the one running." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if someone enters my house and stretches out his hand to kill me? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be like the (righteous) son of Adam."
