«ست من أشراط الساعة: موتي وفتح بيت المقدس وأن يعطى الرجل ألف دينار فيتسخطها وفتنة يدخل حرها بيت كل مسلم وموت يأخذ في الناس كقعاص الغنم وأن يغدر الروم فيسيرون بثمانين بندا تحت كل بند اثنا عشر ألفا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Among the signs of the Hour are six (things): my death; the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis; a man being given a thousand dinars and considering it insufficient; a trial whose heat will enter the home of every Muslim; a death that will spread among the people like the plague of sheep; and the Romans breaking their covenant, then they will march with eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand (soldiers)."
