Hadith Beginning with the Letter Ra (ر)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A righteous dream is one of forty-six parts of prophethood."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A righteous dream is from Allah and a bad dream is from Satan. So when one of you sees something he dislikes, let him (lightly) spit dryly to his left three times as soon as he wakes up, and seek refuge with Allah from its evil; then it will not harm him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A righteous dream is from Allah and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever sees a dream and dislikes something in it, let him spit dryly to his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan; then it will not harm him. And let him not tell anyone about it. And if he sees a good dream, let him rejoice, and let him not tell it to anyone except someone he loves."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Dreams are of three kinds: glad tidings from Allah, the thoughts of the self, and frightening from Satan. So when one of you sees a dream that pleases him, he may relate it to someone if he wishes; and if he sees something he dislikes, let him not relate it to anyone, and let him get up and pray. And I dislike (seeing in a dream) a collar around the neck, and I like a shackle on the feet; the shackle on the feet is a sign of steadfastness in the religion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Dreams are of three kinds: some of them are frightening fancies from Satan to grieve the son of Adam; some are what a man is concerned with while awake, so he sees it in his sleep; and some are one of forty-six parts of prophethood."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A dream remains like a bird (suspended in the air) as long as it is not interpreted; then when it is interpreted, it comes to pass. So do not relate it except to a sincere friend or a person of sound opinion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"(A good) dream is from Allah and (a bad) dream is from Satan. So when one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit dryly to his left three times, seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed three times, and turn over from the side he was lying on."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba) has seventy-two doors. The least of them is equal to a man committing incest with his own mother, and the greatest usury is a man's tongue-lashing against the honour of his brother."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba) has seventy-three doors."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba) has seventy-three doors. The least of them is equal to a man committing incest with his own mother, and the greatest usury is (attacking) the honour of a Muslim man."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba) has seventy doors, and shirk is likewise (having seventy degrees)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba) is equal to seventy sins, the least of which is equal to a man committing incest with his own mother."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Usury (riba), however much it increases, its end result is only towards decrease."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man has more right to the front part of his mount, and if he (gets up for a short while and) returns, he has more right to his place as well."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man has more right to his place; and if he goes out for some need of his and then returns, he still has more right to his place."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man is upon the religion (way and manner) of his close friend, so let each of you look at whom he takes as a close friend."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The stoning is an expiation for the (sin) that she committed."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The womb (kinship) is a branch hanging from the Throne."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The womb (kinship) is a branch derived from the name of the Most Merciful (al-Rahman). Allah says: Whoever joins you, I will join him, and whoever cuts you off, I will cut him off."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The womb (kinship) is hanging from the Throne, and it says: Whoever joins me, may Allah join him, and whoever cuts me off, may Allah cut him off."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"With Allah, mercy has one hundred parts. He distributed one part among the creation and kept ninety-nine parts with Himself for the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Provision seeks out the servant more intensely than even his death does."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Breastfeeding makes unlawful the same relations that birth (blood kinship) makes unlawful."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Thunder is an angel from among the angels of Allah, appointed over the clouds. He has whips of fire with which he drives the clouds wherever Allah wills."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Ruqba (saying: if you die before me this thing is mine, and if I die first it is yours) is permissible."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The raqub (bereft one) is the woman none of whose children dies (during her lifetime)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The raqub (bereft one) is the one who has no forerunner (a child who has gone ahead to Paradise)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The true raqub (bereft one) is the one who has children, then he dies without having sent any of them ahead (during his lifetime)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A caravan that has bells with it, the angels do not accompany it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Black Stone and the Station of Ibrahim are two rubies from among the rubies of Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Going out in the way of Allah for one evening or one morning is better than the world and everything in it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A pledged animal may be ridden, and it may also be milked."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A pledged animal may be ridden in return for its upkeep, and when a milch animal is pledged, its milk may also be drunk in return for its upkeep."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The wind is sent as a punishment for some people and as a mercy for others."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The wind is from the mercy of Allah; it brings mercy and it brings punishment. So when you see it, do not revile it; rather, ask Allah for its good and seek refuge with Allah from its evil."
