«الرؤيا ثلاثة: منها تهاويل من الشيطان ليحزن ابن آدم ومنها ما يهم به الرجل في يقظته فيراه في منامه ومنها جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءا من النبوة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Dreams are of three kinds: some of them are frightening fancies from Satan to grieve the son of Adam; some are what a man is concerned with while awake, so he sees it in his sleep; and some are one of forty-six parts of prophethood."
