He said: "I have come from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him); he was narrating from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Women will be the fewest in number among the inhabitants of Paradise.'"

It is narrated from Umarah bin Khuzaymah bin Thabit; he said: We were with Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) on a journey for Hajj or Umrah. When we reached Marr al-Zahran, we saw a woman in her howdah (camel litter) with her hand resting on the howdah. Then, when we descended into a mountain pass, we saw many crows there, among which was a piebald crow with a red beak and red legs. So Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of the women will enter Paradise except the one whose likeness is like this piebald crow among these (black) crows."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O assembly of women! Give charity, even if it is from your jewellery, for you will be the majority of the people of Hell." An ordinary woman said: O Messenger of Allah! Why will we be the majority in Hell? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Because you curse a great deal and are ungrateful to your husbands. And despite being deficient in intellect and religion, I have not seen anyone more capable of overpowering the mind of a sensible man than you."
