حدثنا أبو إسحاق إبراهيم بن فِراس المالكي الفقيه بمكة - حَرَسَها الله - في المسجد الحرام، حدثنا بكر بن سهل الدِّمياطي، حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز، عن عَطيَّة بن قيس، عن أبي العوَّام مؤذِّن بيت المَقدِس، قال: سمعتُ عبد عبد الله بن عمرو يقول: إِنَّ السُّور الذي ذَكَرَه الله في القرآن: ﴿فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِسُورٍ لَهُ بَابٌ بَاطِنُهُ فِيهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ﴾ [الحديد:13]، وهو السور الشَّرقي، باطنُه المسجدُ وما يَليهِ، وظاهرُه وادي جهنَّم (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Abu al-Awwam, the mu'adhdhin of Bayt al-Maqdis; he said: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: "Indeed, the wall which Allah Almighty mentioned in the Noble Qur'an: 'Then a wall will be placed between them with a gate; its inner side contains mercy, and its outer side faces the punishment.' [Surah al-Hadid: 13] refers to the eastern wall. Its inner side is the Masjid (al-Aqsa) and the area adjoining it, and its outer side is the valley of Jahannam."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Hadith 8991

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بحر بن نَصْر الخَوْلاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن دَرَّاج أبي السَّمْح، عن أبي الهيثم، عن أبي سعيد، أنَّ النبي ﷺ قال: "لو ضَرَب مِقمَعٌ من حديدِ جَهَنَّمَ الجبلَ لتفتَّتَ كما يُضرب به أهلُ النار، فصار (2) رمادًا" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a mace (hammer) of the iron of Hell were struck upon a mountain, it too would be shattered to pieces just as the people of Hell are struck with it, and it would become ashes."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Hadith 8992

حدثنا أبو الحسن علي بن محمد بن عُقبة الشَّيباني ﵀ بالكوفة، حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العَنبَس، حدثنا علي بن قادِم، حدثنا شَرِيكَ، عن عُبيدٍ المُكتِبِ، عن الشَّعْبي، عن أنس بن مالك قال: ضَحِكَ رسولُ الله ﷺ ذاتَ يومٍ أو تبسَّم، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "ألا تسألوني من أيِّ شيءٍ ضَحِكتُ؟ " فقال: "عَجِبتُ من مجادلةِ العبدِ ربَّه يومَ القيامة، يقول: يا ربّ، أليس وَعَدْتَني أن لا تَظْلِمَني؟ قال: بَلَى، قال: فإني لا أقبلُ عليَّ شهادة شاهدٍ إلَّا من نَفْسي، فيقول: أوَليس كفى بي شَهيدًا وبالملائكةِ الكِرام الكاتبين؟ قال: فيُردِّدُ هذا الكلامَ مرّاتٍ، فيُختَمُ على فِيهِ وتَكلَّمُ أَرْكَانُه بما كان يعمل فيقول: بُعْدًا لكم وسُحقًا، عنكم كنت أُجادِلُ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed, or smiled, and then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Will you not ask me what I laughed at?" Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) himself said: "I marvelled at the servant's disputing with his Lord on the Day of Resurrection. He will say: 'O my Lord! Did You not promise me that You would not wrong me?' Allah Almighty will say: 'Certainly!' He will say: 'Then I will never accept the testimony of anyone against me except from my own self.' Allah Almighty will say: 'Are My testimony and My noble angels who record the deeds not sufficient?' He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That servant will repeat these words several times, so a seal will be placed upon his mouth and his limbs will speak out his deeds. Then that servant will say (to his limbs): 'Away with you and may you be ruined! It was only for your sake that I was disputing.'"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Hadith 8993

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحر بن نصر الخَوْلاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن دَرّاج، عن أبي الهيثم، عن أبي سعيد، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "لو أنَّ دَلْوَ غَسّاقِ يُهراقُ في الدنيا، لأنتَنَ أهلُ الدنيا" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If even a single bucket of ghassaq (the pus and blood flowing from the people of Hell) were poured out in the world, all the people of the world would be made to stink."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
