It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a mace (hammer) of the iron of Hell were struck upon a mountain, it too would be shattered to pieces just as the people of Hell are struck with it, and it would become ashes."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading: (3) Its chain is weak. Reference / Source: Ahmad 18/ (11786) narrated it by way of Ibn Lahi'ah, from Darraj, with this chain.
