حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفان العامري، حدثنا يحيى بن آدم، حدثنا إسرائيل، عن أبي إسحاق، عن هانئ وهُبَيرة (1) ابن يَرِيم، عن عليّ قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "دَعُوا الجاريةَ مع خالتِها، فإنَّ الخالةَ أمٌّ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه بهذه السِّياقة.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hand the girl over to her maternal aunt, for the maternal aunt is like a mother."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it with this wording.

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الشَّيباني وأبو يحيى السَّمَر قندي، قالا: حدثنا محمد بن نصر الإمام، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أخبرنا مَخْلَد بن يزيد الجَزَري، عن ابن جُرَيج، عن عمرو بن مُسلِم، عن طاووس، عن عائشة، عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: "اللهُ ورسوله مَولَى مَن لا مَولى له، والخالُ وارثُ مَن لا وارثَ له" (3)

أخبرنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا الحسن بن علي بن زياد، حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر الحِزَامي، حدثنا محمد بن صَدَقة الفَدَكي، حدثنا ابن أبي الزِّناد، عن هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه قال: قال الزُّبير بن العوّام فينا نَزَلت هذه الآية: ﴿وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ﴾ [الأحزاب: 6]، قال: كان رسولُ الله ﷺ قد آخَى بين رجلٍ من المهاجرين ورجل من الأنصار، فلم أشُكَّ أنّا نتوارثُ لو هَلَكَ كعبٌ وليس له مَن يَرِثُه، فظننتُ أني أرثُه، ولو هلكتُ كذلك يَرِثُني، حتى نزلت هذه الآية: ﴿وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ﴾ (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: This verse was revealed concerning us: "And blood relatives are more entitled to one another (than others) in the Book of Allah" [Surah al-Ahzab: 6]. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had established brotherhood between a man of the Muhajirun and a man of the Ansar, so I had no doubt that if Ka'b died and had no heir, we would inherit from one another. I thought that I would inherit from him, and if I died, he would inherit from me, until this verse was revealed: "And blood relatives are more entitled to one another."
