حدثنا أبو محمد أحمد (2) بن عبد الله المُزَني، حدثنا أبو خَليفة القاضي، حدثنا أبو الوليد، حدثنا عبيد الله بن أبي حُميد، عن أبي المَلِيح بن أسامة (3)، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "اعتَمُّوا تزدادُوا حِلْمًا" (4).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wear turbans; (by this) your forbearance (hilm) will increase."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 7600

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نصر بن سابق الخَوْلاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني عبد الله بن عمر، عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم، عن أبيه، عن عائشة أنها قالت: رأيتُ رجلًا يوم الخندق على صورة دِحْية ابن خَليفة الكَلْبي على دابَّةٍ يُناجي رسولَ الله ﷺ، وعلى رأسه عِمامةٌ قد أسدَلَها عليه، فسألت رسولَ الله ﷺ قال: "فإنَّ ذلك جبريلُ ﵇ أمَرَني أن أَخرجَ إلى بني قُريَظةَ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: On the day of (the Battle of) the Trench, I saw a man in the likeness of Dihyah bin Khalifah al-Kalbi, riding a mount and speaking privately with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). On his head was a turban, one end of which he had let hang down over his face or shoulders. I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That was Jibril (peace be upon him); he has commanded me to march out against Banu Qurayzah."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 7601

وقد حدَّثَناه أحمد بن سَلْمان (1) الفقيه، حدثنا أحمد بن عبيد الله النَّرْسي، حدثنا رَوْح بن عُبادة، حدثنا عبد الله بن عمر، عن أخيه، عن القاسم بن محمد، عن عائشة: أنَّ رجلًا أتى النبيَّ ﷺ على بِرْذَون عليه عِمامةٌ قد أَرْخَى طرفها بين كَتِفَيه، فسألتُ النبيَّ ﷺ، فقال: "رأيته؟ ذاكِ جبريلُ ﵇" (2).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) riding a Turkish horse (birdhawn). He was wearing a turban, one end of which he had let hang down between his shoulders. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Did you see him? That was Jibril (peace be upon him)."

Hadith 7602

أخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن أحمد المحبوبي، حدثنا سعيد بن مسعود، أخبرنا عبيد الله بن موسى، أخبرنا شَيْبان بن عبد الرحمن، عن الأعمش، عن جامع ابن شدَّاد، عن كُلْثوم الخُزَاعي، عن أسامة بن زيد قال: دَخَلْنا على رسول الله ﷺ نعودُه وهو مريض، فوجدناه نائمًا قد غطَّى وجهَه ببُرْدٍ عَدَني، فكشف عن وجهِه ثم قال: "لَعَنَ اللهُ اليهودَ يُحرِّمون شُحومَ الغنم، ويأكلون أثمانَها" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: We came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to visit him while he was ill. We found him resting, and he had covered his blessed face with an Adeni cloak. He (peace and blessings be upon him) uncovered his face and then said: "May Allah Almighty curse the Jews; they declare the fat of sheep forbidden (for themselves), yet (sell it and) consume its price."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
