It is narrated from Khalid bin Abdullah al-Qasri, from his father, from his grandfather Sayyiduna Yazid bin Asad bin Kurz (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Yazid bin Asad! Do you love Paradise?" I said: "Yes." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then love for your Muslim brother what you love for yourself."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it; and Yazid bin Asad bin Kurz is a Companion who resided in Basrah.

It is narrated from Abu Idris al-Khawlani (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw there a young man with gleaming teeth (of attractive appearance), with people gathered around him; whenever they differed about something, they would refer it to him and act upon his opinion. I asked about him and was told: "This is Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him)." The next day, I went to the mosque at midday and found that he had come before me and was praying. I waited for him until he had finished his prayer, then I came to him from in front of him, greeted him with salam and said: "By Allah! I love you for the sake of Allah." He asked: "By Allah?" I said: "By Allah." He asked again (for emphasis): "By Allah?" I said: "By Allah." Then he took hold of the edge of my cloak, pulled me towards him and said: "Rejoice! For I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: 'Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: My love is due to those who love one another for My sake, who sit with one another for My sake, who spend on one another for My sake, and who visit one another for My sake.'"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
