دَاءُ الْأُمَمِ الْأَشَرُ وَالْبَطَرُ

حدّثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله، أخبرنا ابن وهب، أخبرني أبو هانئ حُميد بن هانئ الخَوْلانيّ، حدَّثني أبو سعيد الغِفَاريّ، أنه قال: سمعتُ أبا هريرة يقول: سمعتُ رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "سيصيبُ أمتي داءُ الأُمَم" فقالوا: يا رسولَ الله، وما داءُ الأمم؟ قال: "الأَشَرُ، والبَطَرُ، والتكاثرُ، والتناجشُ (3) في الدنيا، والتباغُض، والتحاسُدُ حتى يكونَ البَغْيُ" (4).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Soon my Ummah will be afflicted by the disease of the earlier nations." The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the disease of the earlier nations?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ingratitude, excessive exultation, greed for amassing wealth, deceiving one another in worldly matters, mutual hatred and envy, until transgression and oppression arise."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن الحسن القاضي بهَمَذان، حدّثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، حدّثنا آدم بن أبي إياس، حدّثنا شُعبة، عن أبي بَلْج يحيى بن أبي سُليم، قال: سمعت عَمرو (1) بن ميمون، يحدّث عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "مَن سرَّه أن يَجِدَ طعم الإيمان، فليُحِبَّ المرء لا يُحِبُّه إلا الله ﷿" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.
