Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7501

It is narrated from Khalid bin Abdullah al-Qasri, from his father, from his grandfather Sayyiduna Yazid bin Asad bin Kurz (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Yazid bin Asad! Do you love Paradise?" I said: "Yes." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then love for your Muslim brother what you love for yourself."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it; and Yazid bin Asad bin Kurz is a Companion who resided in Basrah.

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This narration is "sahih li-ghayrihi", but this chain is da'if (weak).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Rawh bin 'Ata' - who is Ibn Abi Maymunah - is da'if (weak), but he has been corroborated. No one narrated from 'Abdullah bin Yazid al-Qasri (the father of Khalid) except his son Khalid, though Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat".
Reference / Source: It was narrated by 'Abdullah bin Ahmad in his additions (zawa'id) to "Musnad Ahmad" (27/ 16655) from Muhammad bin 'Abdullah al-Ruzzi, from Rawh bin 'Ata', with this same chain.
Reference / Source: It was also narrated by 'Abdullah bin Ahmad (16656) via the route of Hushaym bin Bashir, from Sayyar Abu al-Hakam, with this same chain.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Its meaning is supported by the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) in al-Bukhari (113) and Muslim (45), whose wording is: "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
Details of the narration: And the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): "Love for people what you love for yourself, and you will be a (complete) Muslim",
Reference / Source: See its takhrij in "Musnad Ahmad" 13/ (8095).

Details of the narration: And the hadith of Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) is in Musnad Ahmad 36/ (22130).
