Tafsir of Surah al-Naziat

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning the saying of Allah Almighty "By those who pull out violently, and by those who draw out gently" [Surah al-Nazi'at: 1-2], that he said: (What is meant by them are the angels of) death.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that when a quarter of the night had passed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would (wake and) say: "O people, remember Allah! O people, remember Allah! (The first blast of the Trumpet,) al-Rajifah, has come, to be followed by (the second blast,) al-Radifah. Death has come with all its horrors, death has come with all its horrors." So Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I send abundant blessings upon you; so how much of my supplication should I devote to you (for sending blessings)? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As much as you wish."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to be asked about the Hour, until these verses were revealed to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "They ask you about the Hour: when will it be established? What have you to do with mentioning it? Its knowledge rests only with your Lord." [Surah al-Nazi'at: 42-44] So he (peace and blessings be upon him) refrained (from speaking about it).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it, because Ibn Uyaynah, in the last part of his life, used to narrate it in mursal form.
