حدثني أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن بُطّة الأصبهاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن زكريا الأصبهاني، حدثنا محمد بن بُكَير الحَضْرمي، حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة، حدثنا ثابت، عن أنس: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ كانت له أَمَةٌ يَطؤُها، فلم تَزَلْ به حَفْصةُ (2) حتى جعلها على نفسه حرامًا، فأَنزل الله هذه الآية: ﴿يَاأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِي مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَاجِكَ﴾ إلى آخر الآية (3). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a slave woman with whom he (peace and blessings be upon him) had marital relations. Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) kept speaking to him (peace and blessings be upon him) (insistently) until he (peace and blessings be upon him) made that slave woman unlawful for himself. Then Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "O Prophet, why do you prohibit what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives?" [Al-Tahrim: 1]
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا أحمد بن مِهْران، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا سفيان، عن سالم الأفطَس، عن سعيد بن جُبير، عن ابن عبَّاس قال: جاءه رجل فقال: جَعلتُ امرأتي عليَّ حرامًا، فقال: كذبتَ ليست عليكَ بحَرامٍ؛ ثم تلا هذه الآية: ﴿يَاأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ﴾ (1). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came to him and said: I have made my wife unlawful for myself. He said: "You have spoken wrongly; she has not become unlawful for you." Then he recited this verse: "O Prophet, why do you prohibit what Allah has made lawful for you?"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرنا أبو زكريا يحيى بن محمد العَنبَري، حدثنا محمد بن عبد السلام، حدثنا إسحاق، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، عن الثَّوْري، عن منصور، عن رِبْعيٍّ، عن علي بن أبي طالب في قوله ﷿: ﴿قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا﴾ [التحريم: 6] قال: علِّموا [أنفسَكم و] أهلِيكم (2) الخيرَ (3). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, "Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire" [Al-Tahrim: 6], that he said: "(It means) teach yourselves and your families what is good."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

أخبرنا الحسن بن يعقوب العَدْل، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الوهاب، أخبرنا جعفر بن عَوْن، أخبرنا مِسعَر، عن عبد الملك بن عُمير، عن عبد الرحمن بن سابِط، عن عمرو بن ميمون، عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال: إنَّ الحجارة التي سمَّى اللهُ في القرآن ﴿وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ﴾ [البقرة: 24، التحريم: 6]، حجارةٌ من كِبْريتٍ، خَلَقَها الله عنده كيف شاءَ؛ أو كما شاء (1). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the saying of Allah Almighty, "whose fuel is people and stones" [Surah al-Baqarah: 24], that he said: "Those stones (of Hell) are of sulphur (kibrit), which Allah has created with Himself however He willed."
