حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا العبَّاس بن محمد الدُّوري، حدثنا عثمان بن عمر، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن دينار، حدثنا شَرِيك بن أبي نَمِرٍ، عن عطاء بن يَسَار، عن أم سَلَمة أنها قالت: في بيتي نَزَلَت هذه الآية: ﴿إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ﴾ [الأحزاب: 33]، قالت: فأَرسَل رسولُ الله ﷺ إلى علي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين، فقال: "اللهمَّ هؤلاءِ أهلُ بيتي" قالت أم سلمة: يا رسول الله، ما أنا من أهلِ البيت؟ قال: "إنَّكِ إلى خيرٍ، وهؤلاءِ أهلُ بيتي" (1)

It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), that this verse was revealed in my house: "Allah only intends to remove impurity from you, O people of the (Prophet's) household." [Surah al-Ahzab: 33] She says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent for Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) and said: "O Allah, these are my household (Ahl al-Bayt)." Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah, am I not among the people of the household?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are upon good (your own station is a good one), and these are my household."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، أخبرنا العبَّاس بن الوليد بن مَزيَد، أخبرني أبي، قال: سمعتُ الأوزاعيَّ يقول: حدثني أبو عمَّار، قال: حدثني واثلةُ بن الأسقَعِ قال: جئتُ أريد عليًّا فلم أجِدْه، فقالت فاطمةُ: انطلَقَ إلى رسول الله يَدعُوه، فاجلِسْ، فجاء مع رسول الله ﷺ فدخل ودخلتُ معهما، قال: فدعا رسولُ الله ﷺ حسنًا وحسينًا فأجلسَ كلَّ واحد منهما على فَخذِه، وأدنى فاطمةَ من حِجْره وزوجَها، ثم لفَّ عليهم ثوبَه وأنا شاهدٌ، فقال: " ﴿إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا﴾، اللهمَّ هؤلاءِ أهلُ بيتي، اللهمَّ أهلي أحقُّ" (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that I came looking for Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), but he was not at home. Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "He has gone to call the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); please sit down." Then he came with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and they entered the house, and I also entered with them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) and seated each of them on one of his thighs, then he drew Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and her husband (Ali, may Allah be pleased with him) close to himself, and spread his cloak over all of them, while I was witnessing all this. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Allah only intends to remove impurity from you, O people of the household, and to purify you with a thorough purification," and said: "O Allah, these are my household; O Allah, these family members of mine are more deserving."

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الزاهدُ الأصبهاني، حدثنا أَسِيدُ بن عاصم، حدثنا الحسين بن حفص، حدثنا سفيان بن سعيد، عن ابن أبي نَجِيح، عن مجاهد، عن أم سَلَمة قالت: قلت: يا رسول الله، يُذكَرُ الرجالُ ولا يُذكَرُ النساءُ! فأنزل الله ﷿: ﴿إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ﴾ [الأحزاب: 35]، وأنزل: ﴿أَنِّي لَا أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى﴾ [آل عمران: 195] (1).

It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), that I said: "O Messenger of Allah, men are mentioned (in the Qur'an) and women are not mentioned!" So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: [Surah al-Ahzab: 35] "Indeed, the Muslim men and the Muslim women, the believing men and the believing women," and He also revealed this verse: [Surah Al Imran: 195] "Indeed, I do not let the deed of any doer among you go to waste, whether male or female."

حدثنا الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا الحارث بن أبي أسامة، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا سفيان، عن علي بن الأقمَر، عن الأغرِّ، عن أبي سعيدٍ أنه قال. وحدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الحافظ، حدثنا حامد بن أبي حامد المقرئ، حدثنا عيسى بن جعفر الرازي، حدثنا سفيان بن سعيد، عن علي بن الأقمَر، عن الأغرِّ، عن أبي سعيدٍ وأبي هريرة، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "إذا أيقَظَ الرجلُ امرأتَه من الليل فصَلَّيا ركعتين، كُتِبا من الذاكرينَ الله كثيرًا والذاكراتِ" (2). لم يُسنِدْه أبو نُعيم ولم يَذكُر النبيَّ ﷺ في الإسناد، وأسنَدَه عيسى بنُ جعفر وهو ثقةٌ.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man wakes his wife at night and the two of them pray two rak'ahs together, both of them are recorded among the men who remember (Allah) much and the women who remember (Him)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it. Abu Nu'aim did not narrate it as marfu', but Isa bin Ja'far, who is a trustworthy (thiqah) narrator, narrated it as marfu' (traced to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)).
