حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أبو الحَسَن محمد بن سِنان القزّاز، حدثنا محمد بن بكر البُرْساني، حدثنا ابن جُرَيج، أخبرني عمر بن عطاء، عن عِكرمة، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "لا صَرُورةَ في الإسلامِ" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no 'sarurah' (abandoning marriage, living a life of celibacy) permitted in Islam."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرنا أبو الحسن علي بن محمد بن عُقْبة الشَّيباني بالكوفة، حدثنا محمد بن علي بن عفّان العامري، حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى، حدثنا سفيان، عن المغيرة بن النعمان، عن سعيد بن جُبير، قال: قال لي عبد الله بن عباس: تزوجتَ؟ قلتُ: لا، قال: تَزَوَّجْ؛ فإنَّ خيرَ هذه الأُمّة ﷺ أكثرُها نساءً، ومهما في صُلبِك مُستودَعٌ، فإنه سيَخرُج قبلَ يوم القيامة (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد تابع عطاءُ بن السائب المغيرةَ بن النعمان في روايته:

It is narrated from Sa'id bin Jubayr that he said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked me: Have you married? I said: No. He said: "Marry! For the best person of this Ummah (peace and blessings be upon him) had the most wives, and whatever (offspring) has been deposited in your loins will surely come forth before the Day of Resurrection."
