خَيْرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَكْثَرُهَا نِسَاءً .

أخبرَناه الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي، حدثنا سليمان بن حرب، حدثنا حماد بن زيد، عن عطاء بن السائب، عن سعيد بن جُبير، قال: قال لي ابنُ عباس: يا سعيد، تزوَّجْ، فإنَّ خيرَ هذه الأمة كان أكثرَهم نساءً (2).

It is narrated from Sa'id bin Jubayr that he said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to me: O Sa'id, marry, for the best person of this Ummah had the most wives.
حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الخَضِرُ بن أبان الهاشمي، حدثنا سيَّار بنُ حاتِم، حدثنا جعفر بن سليمان، عن ثابت، عن أنس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "حُبِّب إليَّ النساءُ والطِّيبُ، وجُعِلَ قُرَّةُ عَيني في الصلاة" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Of the things of this world, women and fragrance have been made beloved to me, and the coolness of my eyes has been placed in prayer."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
