حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أبو الحَسَن محمد بن سِنان القزّاز، حدثنا محمد بن بكر البُرْساني، حدثنا ابن جُرَيج، أخبرني عمر بن عطاء، عن عِكرمة، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "لا صَرُورةَ في الإسلامِ" (3). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no 'sarurah' (abandoning marriage, living a life of celibacy) permitted in Islam."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(3) إسناده ضعيف كما تقدم بيانه برقم (1661). Grading: Its chain is weak, as explained earlier under hadith number (1661). وأخرجه أحمد 5/ (2844) عن محمد بن بكر، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it in his "Musnad" (5/2844) through Muhammad bin Bakr with this same chain.
