Supplication for attaining benefit

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make this supplication: 'Allahumma qanni'ni bima razaqtani, wa barik li fih, wakhluf 'alayya kulla gha'ibatin li bi-khayr' (O Allah, make me content with the provision You have given me, bless it for me, and grant me the best replacement for everything of mine that is lost).
The chain of this hadith is sahih, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Allahumman-fa'ni bima 'allamtani, wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni, warzuqni 'ilman tanfa'uni bih' (O Allah, benefit me through what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and grant me knowledge through which You benefit me).
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
