It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Among the best of your days is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on it his soul was taken, on it the Trumpet will be blown, and on it will be the mighty blast (sa'qah). So send abundant blessings (salawat) upon me on that day, for your blessings are presented to me." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! How will our blessings be presented to you when you (your bones) will have decayed? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on it he was sent down (to the earth), on it his repentance was accepted, on it he died, and on this day the Hour will be established. Every animal on Friday, from dawn until the sun rises, is listening attentively (in dread) out of fear of the Hour, except the jinn and humans. And on this day there is an hour such that any Muslim servant who finds it while he is praying and asking Allah for something, Allah will certainly grant it to him." Ka'b al-Ahbar said: That is on one day in the year. So I said: No, rather it is on every Friday. Then Ka'b read the Torah and said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke the truth. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then I met Abdullah bin Salam and told him about my conversation with Ka'b. Abdullah bin Salam said: I know which hour it is. Abu Hurayrah said: I said to him: Tell me which hour it is. Abdullah bin Salam said: It is the last hour of Friday. I said: How can it be the last hour when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He finds it while he is praying," and no prayer is prayed at that time? Abdullah bin Salam said: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) not say: "Whoever sits waiting for the prayer is in prayer until he prays"?!
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it. The two of them agreed only on its opening words, which are narrated in the narration of al-A'raj from Abu Hurayrah: "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday." And Muhammad bin Ishaq has corroborated Yazid bin al-Had (mutaba'ah), with further details mentioned in it:
