It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You cannot satisfy all people with your wealth (for wealth is limited), but your cheerful face and good character can suffice for them all."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), as a marfu' report (traced to the Prophet), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You cannot suffice people with your wealth, but your cheerful face and good character can be a means of embracing them."
The meaning of this hadith is close to the first one, though the two Shaykhs did not narrate from Abdullah bin Sa'id.
