حدثنا علي بن حَمْشَاذَ العَدْل، حدثنا إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي، حدثنا عبد الله بن مَسلَمة. وأخبرنا أحمد بن سلمان الفقيه قال: قُرِئَ على عبد الملك بن محمد - هو ابن عبد الله الرَّقَاشي - حدثنا أبي قال: حدثنا مسلم بن خالد، عن العلاء، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: "كَرَمُ المؤمن دينُه، ومُرُوتُه عقلُه، وحَسَبُه خُلُقه" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه، وله شاهد:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The nobility of a believer is his religion, his manliness (muru'ah) is his intellect, and his honour is his good character."
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Imam Muslim, though they did not record it, and it also has a supporting narration.

حدثنا أبو سعيد إسماعيل بن أحمد، حدثنا محمد بن حسين بن مُكرَم بالبصرة، حدثنا أحمد بن المِقْدام، حدثنا المعتمِر، عن عبد الله بن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المَقبُري، عن جدِّه، عن أبي هريرة، أنَّ النبي ﷺ قال: "كرمُ المؤمن دينُه، ومُروءتُه عقلُه، وحَسَبُه خُلُقه" (1).
