Hadith 19716

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: انْكِحْ بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ لِأُخْتِهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَوَ تُحِبِّينَ ذَلِكَ؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، لَسْتُ لَكَ بِمُخْلِيَةٍ، وَأَحَبُّ مَنْ شَارَكَنِي فِي خَيْرٍ أُخْتِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَحِلُّ» ، قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ تُحَدِّثَ أَنَّكَ نَاكِحٌ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ؟» ، قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي مَا حَلَّتْ، لِأَنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، أَرْضَعَتْنِي أَنَا وَأَبَا سَلَمَةَ ثُوَيْبَةُ، فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ وَلَا أَخَوَاتِكُ»

Zaynab bint Abi Salamah narrates that Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Marry my sister, the daughter of Abu Sufyan. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Would you like that?" She said: Yes, I am not the only one with a claim on you, and the one I would most love to share with me in this good is my sister. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is not permissible." Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! It is being said that you are going to marry Durrah bint Abi Salamah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The daughter of Umm Salamah?" Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Yes. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if she were not my stepdaughter under my care, she would still not be lawful for me, because she is the daughter of my foster brother; Thuwaybah nursed both me and Abu Salamah. So do not offer me your daughters or your sisters."

Hadith 19717

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ثنا عَمِّي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ - زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَخْبَرَتْهَا، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ انْكِحْ أُخْتِي بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، فَزَعَمَتْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا: «أَوَ تُحِبِّينَ ذَلِكَ؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَسْتُ لَكَ بِمُخْلِيَةٍ وَأَحَبُّ مَنْ شَرِكَنِي فِي خَيْرٍ أُخْتِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِي» ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا لَنَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّكَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْكِحَ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَأَيْمُ اللهِ لَوْ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي لَمَا حَلَّتْ لِي، لِأَنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ أَرْضَعَتْنِي، وَأَبَا سَلَمَةَ ثُوَيْبَةُ، فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ، وَلَا أَخَوَاتِكُنَّ»

Hadith 19718

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ: عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ - زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ انْكِحْ أُخْتِي بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَوَ تُحِبِّينَ ذَلِكَ؟» ، قَالَتْ: مَا أَنَا بِمُخْلِيَةٍ، وَخَيْرُ مَنْ شَرِكَنِي فِي خَيْرٍ أُخْتِي، قَالَ: «إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِي» ، قَالَتْ: فَوَاللهِ إِنَّا لَنُحَدَّثُ أَنَّكَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْكِحَ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: «بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَوَاللهِ لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي مَا حَلَّتْ لِي، إِنَّهَا لَابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، لَقَدْ أَرْضَعَتْنِي وَإِيَّاهَا ثُوَيْبَةُ، فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ، وَلَا أَخَوَاتِكُنَّ»

Hadith 19719

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لَكَ فِي حَمْنَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: «أَصْنَعُ مَاذَا؟» ، قَالَتْ: تَنْكِحُهَا، قَالَ: «فَهَلْ تَحِلُّ لِي؟» ، قَالَتْ: وَاللهِ لَقَدْ أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّكَ تَخْطُبُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: «أَرَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي فَوَاللهِ لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي إِنَّهَا لَابْنَةُ أَخِي، أَرْضَعَتْنِي وَإِيَّاهَا ثُوَيْبَةُ، فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ وَلَا أَخَوَاتِكُنَّ وَلَا أُمَّهَاتِكُنَّ» .

Zaynab bint Abi Salamah narrates from Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: O Messenger of Allah! Would you like to take Hamnah bint Abi Sufyan in marriage? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What should I do?" She said: Marry her. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is she lawful for me?" She said: By Allah! I have been told that you are going to propose to Zaynab bint Abi Salamah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My stepdaughter, who is under my care? By Allah! Even if she were not my stepdaughter under my care, she is still the daughter of my brother; Thuwaybah nursed both her and me. So do not offer me your daughters, your sisters or your mothers."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُلْتُ: هَلْ لَكَ فِي أُخْتِي بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ؟، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَأَفْعَلُ مَاذَا؟» ، قُلْتُ: فَتَنْكِحُهَا، قَالَ: «أُخْتَكِ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «أَوَ تُحِبِّينَ ذَلِكَ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، لَسْتُ بِمُخْلِيَةٍ، وَأَحَبُّ مَنْ شَرِكَنِي فِي خَيْرٍ أُخْتِي، قَالَ: «إِنَّهَا لَا تَحِلُّ لِي» ، قُلْتُ: وَاللهِ لَقَدْ أُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّكَ تَخْطُبُ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: «بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «وَاللهِ لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي مَا حَلَّتْ لِي، إِنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، أَرْضَعَتْنِي وَإِيَّاهَا ثُوَيْبَةُ فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ وَأَخَوَاتِكُنَّ»

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، وَمَعْمَرٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُلْتُ: هَلْ لَكَ فِي أُخْتِي بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ؟، قَالَ: «أَفْعَلُ مَاذَا؟» ، قُلْتُ: تَنْكِحُهَا، قَالَ: «أُخْتَكِ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «أَوَ تُحِبِّينَ ذَلِكَ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، لَسْتُ لَكَ بِمُخْلِيَةٍ وَأَحَبُّ - أَوْ قَالَتْ: - وَأَحَقُّ مَنْ شَرِكَنِي فِي خَيْرٍ أُخْتِي، قَالَ: «فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَحِلُّ لِي» ، قَالَتْ: فَوَاللهِ لَقَدْ أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّكَ تَخْطُبُ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: «بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ؟» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَوَاللهِ لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رَبِيبَتِي فِي حِجْرِي مَا حَلَّتْ لِي إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، أَرْضَعَتْنِي وَإِيَّاهَا ثُوَيْبَةُ، فَلَا تَعْرِضْنَ عَلَيَّ بَنَاتِكُنَّ وَلَا أَخَوَاتِكُنَّ»
