حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُرِيتُ مَا يَلْقَى أُمَّتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي مِنْ سَفْكِ بَعْضِهِمْ دَمَ بَعْضٍ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَنِي فِيهِمْ شَفَاعَةَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَفَعَلَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was shown what my Ummah will face after me: some of them shedding the blood of others. So I asked Allah to grant me the right of intercession for them on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah did so."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُرِيتُ مَا يَلْقَى أُمَّتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي وَسَفْكِ دِمَائِهَا، فَسَأَلْتُ اللهَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَنِي فِيهِمْ شَفَاعَةً، فَفَعَلَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was shown what my Ummah will face after me, and the shedding of their blood. So I asked Allah to grant me the right of intercession for them, and Allah did so."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا سِنَانُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْبُرْجُمِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَّا يَكُونُ لَهَا زَوْجَانِ ثُمَّ تَمُوتُ فَتَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ وَزَوْجَاهَا، لِأَيِّهِمَا تَكُونُ لِلْأَوَّلِ أَوْ لِلْآخَرِ؟، قَالَ: «تَخَيَّرُ أَحْسَنَهُمَا خُلُقًا كَانَ مَعَهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا يَكُونُ زَوْجَهَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَا أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ، ذَهَبَ حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ بِخَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! If a woman among us has two husbands, then she dies and enters Paradise, she and both her husbands as well, whose wife will she be, the first's or the other's? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She will choose whichever of the two had the better character with her in the world, and he will be her husband in Paradise. O Umm Habibah! Good character takes away the good of this world and the Hereafter."
