Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One day I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood for a long time, although whenever he (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer he kept it light. I saw that he (peace and blessings be upon him) stretched out his hand to take hold of something, then after that he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said the salam, he sat down and we sat around him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I know that the length of my prayer and my standing alarmed you." We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! And we heard you saying: 'O my Lord! (Will they be punished) while I am among them?'" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is nothing that you have been promised in the Hereafter except that it was all shown to me in this very place of mine, until Hell was presented to me, and its sparks came towards me until they came level with this tent of mine. I feared that it would envelop you, so I said: 'O my Lord! (Will they be punished) while I am among them?' Then Allah turned it away from you, and it retreated in pieces as though they were carpets. Then I took a look and saw Imran bin Hurthan bin al-Harith, one of Banu Ghifar, reclining on his bow in Hell, and I also saw in it the Himyari woman who tied up the cat, and she neither fed it nor gave it water."
Ahmad bin Salih said: The correct name is Hurthan.
