Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14945 — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ نَافِعٍ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَبْتَاعُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ»

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should buy over the sale of his brother, nor propose marriage over his proposal."
