In this chapter there is also the hadith of Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) which mentions him (peace and blessings be upon him) passing his blessed hand over his stomach, after which he never again complained of stomach pain.
It is narrated from Habib bin Fuwayk (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father brought him to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while both his eyes had turned completely white (like a white cataract) and he could not see anything. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "What happened to you?" He said: "I was training a camel of mine when my foot fell on a snake's egg, and as a result I came to this state." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) blew his blessed saliva into his eyes, and he regained his sight. The narrator said: I saw him threading a needle when he was eighty years old, and (contrary to the usual) his eyes still looked white.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out one morning and said: "Before the Fajr prayer today I saw (in a dream) as though I had been given 'al-maqalid' (the keys) and 'al-mawazin' (the scales). As for 'al-maqalid', they are these keys, and as for 'al-mawazin', they are the scales with which things are weighed. I was placed in one pan of the scale and my whole Ummah was placed in the other pan; I was weighed and I outweighed my Ummah. Then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought and weighed, and he too outweighed them all. Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought and weighed, and he too outweighed them all. Then Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought and weighed, and he too proved heavier than them all. Then I woke up, and they (the scales and keys) were taken away."
Imam Ahmad narrated this hadith in his Musnad (5361) and Imam al-Bazzar (2460), and its chain is of hasan (good) grade.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) that we went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Hajj that he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed (the Farewell Hajj). When we descended into the valley of "al-Rawha'", a woman came before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a child with her. She greeted him (peace and blessings be upon him) with salam, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped for her. The woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! This is my son so-and-so. By the One who sent you with the truth! From the time he was born until this hour he has been afflicted with one and the same condition (a state of madness or epilepsy)," or she said a word similar to it. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) leaned towards her, stretched out his hand and seated the child between himself and the saddle. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) put his blessed saliva into his mouth and said: 'Ukhruj aduwwallah, fa-inni rasulullah' (Get out, O enemy of Allah, for I am the Messenger of Allah). Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) handed the child over to the woman and said: "Take him; after today, if Allah wills, you will not see anything in him that troubles you." Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then we completed our Hajj and returned. When we again halted at the place of "al-Rawha'", that same woman, the mother of the child, came forward, and she had a roasted goat with her. She said: "O Messenger of Allah! I am the mother of the child whom I brought to you. By the One who sent you with the truth! Until this hour I have not seen anything in him that troubles me." Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Usaym! (Imam al-Zuhri said: Out of perfect affection and love he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to call him by this diminutive name.) Hand me its foreleg (the goat's shoulder)." He said: I pulled off the foreleg and handed it to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it. Then he said: "O Usaym! Hand me the foreleg." I pulled off the second foreleg and presented it to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate that too. Then he said: "O Usaym! Hand me the foreleg." So I said: "O Messenger of Allah! You asked for the foreleg and I presented it, and you ate it; then you asked again and I presented it again, and you ate that too; and now you have asked for the foreleg again, whereas a goat has only two forelegs?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Know that if you had kept quiet (and reached out your hand), you would have continued to find a foreleg in it for as long as I kept asking you." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Usaym! Get up, go out and see whether you can find any place that can screen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." I went out and walked a long way until I was exhausted, but because of the great number of people I did not see anything that could provide a screen, for the people had filled the space between the two mountains. I came and informed him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you seen any trees or a heap of stones?" I said: "Yes, I have seen some small palm trees, and beside them a heap of stones." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Usaym! Go to those trees and say to them: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commands you to join one another so that you become a screen for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to relieve himself,' and say the same to the heap of stones." So I came to those trees and said to them what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had commanded me. By the One who sent him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth! It is as though I am watching those trees uproot themselves with their roots and soil and join one another, so that they looked like a single tree. And I said the same to the stones, and by the One who sent him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth! I was watching them climb one on top of another, stone by stone, until they became like a wall.
Then I came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pick up the water vessel." I picked it up and we set off. When we drew near them, I went ahead of him (peace and blessings be upon him), put down the water vessel and withdrew. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) went and relieved himself, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) came back, and I picked up the vessel. Then we returned. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the tent, he said: "O Usaym! Go to those palm trees and say to them: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commands that every tree return to its own place,' and say the same to the stones." I went to the trees and conveyed the command to them. Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By the One who sent him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth! It is as though I am watching them move with their soil until every tree returned to its place. And I said the same to the stones, and by Allah! I was watching them stone by stone until every stone returned to its place. Then I came and informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) of it.
Its chain is hasan (good). Although Mu'awiyah bin Yahya al-Sadafi is weak, there is a supporting witness (shahid) for his hadith through the route of Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him), which Imam Ahmad and other hadith scholars have narrated.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ziyad bin al-Harith al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and gave him the pledge of allegiance on Islam at his blessed hand. Then I learned that he (peace and blessings be upon him) had sent an army towards my people, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! Call this army back, and I guarantee to you that my people will accept Islam and be obedient. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Go and bring them back." I said: O Messenger of Allah! My mount is utterly worn out. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O brother of Suda'! You are indeed very influential and obeyed among your people." I said: Rather, it is the favour of Allah Almighty that He guided them to Islam through you. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "Shall I not appoint you as amir over them?" I said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah, certainly. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote a document for me and appointed me as amir. Then I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Assign something of their sadaqat (charities) to me as well. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote me a second document too. Sayyiduna al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This happened during one of his (peace and blessings be upon him) journeys. He (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a place, and its inhabitants came to him with a complaint about their governor, saying: O Messenger of Allah! He has punished us on account of the enmities that existed between him and his people in the time of Jahiliyyah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Did he really do that?" They said: Yes. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to his Companions, among whom I was present, and said: "There is no good in leadership (imarah) for a believing man." Sayyiduna al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: These words of his (peace and blessings be upon him) settled deep in my heart. Then another man came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him, saying: O Messenger of Allah! Give me something. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever asks people despite being rich and self-sufficient, it is a headache in the head and a disease in the stomach (for him)." The man said again: Give me something from the sadaqat. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, Majestic and Exalted, did not accept the judgement of any prophet or anyone other than a prophet concerning the sadaqat, until He Himself gave the ruling about them and divided them into portions. So if you are among those portions, I will give you your right." Sayyiduna al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This too affected my heart, that I had also asked him (peace and blessings be upon him) although I was wealthy. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out with us in the early part of the night. I stayed with him because I was strong, while his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) grew tired and fell behind, until no one remained with him except me. When it was time for the Fajr adhan, he (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded me and I gave the adhan. Then I began to say: O Messenger of Allah! Shall I give the iqamah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) kept looking towards the east, waiting for the dawn to break, and would say: "Not yet," until, when the dawn broke, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dismounted, relieved himself and then came back to me, and meanwhile the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) had also caught up. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O brother of Suda'! Do you have any water?" I said: No, except a little water which will not be enough for you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Put it in a vessel and bring it to me." I did so, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his palm in the vessel, and I saw a spring gushing forth from between every two of his (peace and blessings be upon him) fingers. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O brother of Suda'! Were it not that I feel shy before my Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, we would have drunk our fill ourselves and watered (the mounts) as well. Now announce among my Companions that whoever needs water should take it." I made the announcement, and whoever wished took water. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for the prayer. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) wanted to give the iqamah, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The brother of Suda' gave the adhan, so he will give the iqamah." Sayyiduna al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: So I gave the iqamah. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, I came with those two documents and said: O Messenger of Allah! Excuse me from these two responsibilities. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What has happened to you?" I said: O Prophet of Allah! I heard you say: "There is no good in leadership for a believing man," and I believe in Allah and His Messenger. I also heard you say to the one who asked: "Whoever asks people despite being rich, it is a headache in the head and a disease in the stomach," and I asked you although I am rich. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The matter is just so; now it is your choice: if you wish, accept it, or leave it." I said: Rather, I leave it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Then point out to me a man whom I may appoint as amir over you." I pointed out a man from the delegation that had come to him, and so he (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed him as amir over us. Then I said: O Prophet of Allah! We have a well; in winter its water suffices us and we all stay gathered at it, but when summer comes the water decreases and we have to scatter to the waters around us. Now we have accepted Islam, and all those around us are enemies. Supplicate to Allah Almighty for our well that its water may suffice us, so that we may stay together there and not be scattered. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for six pebbles, rubbed them in his blessed hand and supplicated over them. Then he said: "Take these pebbles, and when you reach the well, throw them into it one by one and mention the name of Allah Almighty: 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)." Sayyiduna al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We did so, and after that we were never able to see the bottom of that well (that is, it became full of water).

The woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! My husband does not come near me, so separate me from him." He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is her husband?" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) summoned her husband and asked him: "What is the matter between you and her? She has come complaining of coldness and neglect from you, that you do not go near her?" The man said: "O Messenger of Allah! By the One who has honoured you! I was with her (in intimacy) only this past night." Hearing this, the woman began to weep and said: "He has lied. Separate me from him, for he is the most hateful to me of all Allah's creation." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled (at the situation). Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of both their heads (bringing them close), brought them near to one another, and supplicated: 'Allahumma adni kulla wahidin minhuma ila sahibihi' (O Allah, bring each of them close to (and in harmony with) the other). Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then we stayed for as long as Allah willed. After a while, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed through the market again, that same woman was carrying leather goods. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I entered the mosque and recognised signs of hunger on the radiant face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So I left and came to (my wife) Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her). I said: "O Umm Sulaym! I sensed severe hunger on the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); do you have anything to eat?" She said: "Yes, I have something," and indicated its small quantity with a gesture of her palm. Then he (Abu Talhah) said to her: "Prepare it and make it really good." Then I sent Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and instructed him: "Whisper in his (peace and blessings be upon him) ear and invite him to the meal." When Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (on seeing him) asked: "O my dear son! Has your father sent you to invite us?" He said: "Yes." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them): 'Bismillah' (Come along with the name of Allah). Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) turned back running quickly until he reached Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) and told him: "Look, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is coming to you with a great many people." Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Anas and I both went out until we met the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) near the door, by the steps. I said: "O Messenger of Allah! What have you done to us? I only saw the signs of hunger on your radiant face and prepared something just for you." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go in, and receive glad tidings." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took that food, gathered it together in the bowl with his blessed hand and arranged it. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Is there any condiment or the like?" So the people brought a small skin container with a little ghee in it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pressed it with his blessed hand and squeezed the ghee out of it. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Now bring the men in to me ten at a time." So they all ate and were satisfied. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said about the leftover food: "Now you yourselves and your families eat too." So they all ate as well and were fully satisfied.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his mother (Sayyidah Umm Sulaym, may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I had a goat, and I collected the butter from its milk, clarified it into ghee and gathered it in a skin container until I had filled the container. Then I sent that container to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with my maidservant Rabibah and instructed her: O Rabibah! Deliver this container to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he may use it as a condiment. Rabibah set off with the gift until she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! This is ghee that Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) has sent for you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said (to those serving him): "Empty this container of hers and give it back to her." So the container was emptied and returned to her, and she came back with it. When Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) saw it, it was filled to the brim with ghee and drops were dripping from it. Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) said (in amazement): O Rabibah! Did I not command you to take it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? She replied: I did take it, and if you do not believe me, go yourself and ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) set out, taking Rabibah with her, and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Did I not send you a container full of ghee with this maidservant? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes! She certainly brought it." Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) said: By the One who sent you with the truth and the religion of truth! That container is still full even now, and ghee is dripping from it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you amazed that Allah Almighty has fed you just as you fed His Prophet? Eat from it yourself and feed others too." Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I came back home and poured a good amount of ghee from it into a bowl of ours, and then left it as it was (for blessing), and for a month or two we took our condiment (ghee) from it.
The chain of this hadith contains the narrator Abu Zilal al-Qasmali, who is weak; however, in the chapter of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) miracles there are many supporting reports of this kind in the books of hadith.
