Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah Almighty will place contentment in his heart, gather his affairs together for him, remove poverty from before his eyes, and the world will come to him submissively. He will be rich in the morning and rich in the evening. And whoever's intention is the world, Allah Almighty will place poverty before his eyes; he will be poor in the morning and poor in the evening."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Isma'il bin Muslim al-Makki, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's focus and concern is the world, who stays turned toward it and intends it, Allah Almighty will place poverty before his eyes and scatter his affairs, and nothing of the world will come to him except the share that is destined for him. And whoever's focus and concern is the Hereafter, who stays turned toward it and intends it, Allah Almighty will place contentment in his heart, gather his affairs together, and the world will come to him humbled."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with two chains; one of them contains Dawud bin al-Muhabbar and the other contains Ayyub bin Hawt, and both of them are extremely da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah Almighty have mercy on the person who hears my words and conveys them to another. There are three things about which the heart of a Muslim does not harbour deceit: devoting one's deeds sincerely to Allah Almighty, sincere counsel to the rulers of the Muslims, and holding fast to their (the Muslims') community, for their supplication encompasses even those who are absent. Whoever's intention is the world, Allah Almighty will place his poverty before his eyes and scatter his affairs, and nothing of the world will come to him except the share that is destined for him. And whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah Almighty will place his contentment in his heart, suffice him in his affairs, and the world will come to him humbled." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded part of this narration.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As far as you are able, keep yourselves free of the worries of the world, for whoever's greatest concern is the world, Allah Almighty will spread his affairs apart and place his poverty before his eyes; and whoever's greatest concern is the Hereafter, Allah Almighty will gather his affairs together and place his contentment in his heart. When a servant turns with his heart to Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty brings the hearts of the believers to him with love and mercy, and Allah Almighty swiftly brings every kind of good."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Hassan al-Maslub, who is kadhdhab (a liar).

And whoever's concern is the world, Allah Almighty will scatter his affairs, place his poverty before his eyes, and nothing of the world will come to him except what has been written for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abu Hamzah al-Thumali, who is da'if (weak).
