بَابٌ فِيمَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ وَهِمَّتُهُ لِلدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ .

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الْآخِرَةَ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - الْغِنَى فِي قَلْبِهِ ، وَجَمَعَ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ ، وَنَزَعَ الْفَقْرَ مِنْ بَيْنِ عَيْنَيْهِ ، وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا وَهِيَ رَاغِمَةٌ ، فَلَا يُصْبِحُ إِلَّا غَنِيًّا ، وَلَا يُمْسِي إِلَّا غَنِيًّا . وَمَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الدُّنْيَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ الْفَقْرَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ ، فَلَا يُصْبِحُ إِلَّا فَقِيرًا ، وَلَا يُمْسِي إِلَّا فَقِيرًا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah Almighty will place contentment in his heart, gather his affairs together for him, remove poverty from before his eyes, and the world will come to him submissively. He will be rich in the morning and rich in the evening. And whoever's intention is the world, Allah Almighty will place poverty before his eyes; he will be poor in the morning and poor in the evening."
