Sayyiduna Jurmuz al-Hujaymi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Give me some advice." He said: "I advise you not to be one who curses."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it through Ubaydullah bin Hawdhah, from a man, from Sayyiduna Jurmuz.
Al-Tabarani also recorded it through another route, from Ubaydullah bin Hawdhah, from Sayyiduna Jurmuz, and the narrators of this route are thiqat (trustworthy). Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned Sayyiduna Jurmuz (may Allah be pleased with him) and stated that he had the honour of being a Companion, and that Ubaydullah bin Hawdhah narrated from him.

Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (2182 و 2180 و 2181) اخرجه أحمد فى المسند (70/5)»
Abu Tamimah al-Hujaymi reports this from a man of his people: He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); the narrator is unsure, perhaps the wording is: He said: I was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came to him and asked: "Are you the Messenger of Allah?" The narrator is unsure, perhaps the wording is: "Are you Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes." He asked: "To what do you call?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I call to (the affirmation of) the Oneness of Allah Almighty, Who is such that when some harm afflicts you and you call upon Him, He removes that harm from you; when a year of drought strikes you and you call upon Him, He makes things grow for you; and when you are in a desolate land and your mount is lost and you call upon Him, He returns your mount to you." The man accepted Islam, then said: "O Messenger of Allah! Give me some advice." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Never revile anything" (the narrator is unsure, perhaps the wording is:) "anyone". This doubt is from the narrator al-Hakam. That man said: Since the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me this advice, I have never reviled even a camel or a goat.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains al-Hakam bin Fudayl, whom Abu Dawud and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Abu Zur'ah and others called him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
