Majma al-Zawaid 13004 — The prohibition of cursing and reviling
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّعَّانُونَ صِدِّيقِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّيْبِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّيْبِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not fitting that those who curse should be among the siddiqin (the truthful ones)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ibrahim bin Ishaq al-Sibi, who is matruk (abandoned).
