Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13001

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not revile the night and the day, and do not revile the sun, the moon or the wind, for they are a mercy for some people and a punishment for others."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Sa'id bin Bashir, whom a group declared thiqah (trustworthy) and a group called da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
Abu Ya'la recorded it with a da'if (weak) chain.
