Sayyiduna al-Walid bin Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some of the people of Paradise will look down upon some of the people of Hell and will say: 'For what reason have you entered Hell? By Allah! We entered Paradise only because of what we learned from you.' They will reply: 'We used to say, but we did not do (it).'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Abu Bakr al-Dahiri, who is extremely da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the night I was taken on the Mi'raj, I came upon some people whose lips were being cut with scissors of fire. I asked: 'O Jibril! Who are these people?' He said: 'These are the preachers of your Ummah who used to enjoin righteousness upon people and forget themselves, though they recited the Book. Did they not reason?'"

In one narration the words are: "Their tongues will be cut with scissors of fire." The narrator is in doubt; perhaps the words are: "with scissors of iron."

In one narration the words are: "On the night I was taken on the Mi'raj, I came to the lowest heaven, and there I saw some people whose tongues and lips were being cut." After this the narrator mentioned the narration as before. Abu Ya'la recorded all these narrations, al-Bazzar recorded some of them, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; in one of Abu Ya'la's chains the narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever invites people to a saying or a deed but does not act upon it himself remains continuously under the displeasure of Allah Almighty until he refrains from it, or does what he said or what he invited to."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abdullah bin Khirash, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), saying: "He makes mistakes," while the majority declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Amir bin Shahr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Take the (good) sayings of Quraysh and leave their (bad) deeds!"
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Mujalid, who has been declared trustworthy, though there is weakness in him.
