Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked henna blossoms (al-faghiyah).
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The chief of the fragrant plants of the people of Paradise is the henna plant."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal, who is thiqah (trustworthy) and ma'mun (reliable).

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher. Its chain contains Fadalah bin Husayn, about whom Abu Hatim said: He is mudtarib al-hadith (inconsistent in hadith); and another narrator is Ibrahim bin Ar'arah, whom I do not know. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Bazzar recorded it with these words: "When perfume is placed in front of one of you, let him apply some of it." Its chain does not contain the narrator Ibrahim bin Ar'arah.

Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man intended to give the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that there was a trace of yellow on his body, so he declined to accept his pledge. He said: "The perfume of men is that whose scent is apparent and whose colour is hidden, and the perfume of women is that whose colour is apparent and whose scent is hidden."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Bashshar al-Ramadi, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.

As for the wars, it came to them from Yemen; and as for the abar, it was taken from some of the people of the dhimmah (protected non-Muslims) out of the jizyah that was due from them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Rabi' bin Ziyad al-Muharibi. Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned him; he neither declared him weak nor declared him trustworthy. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
