وَعَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمْعَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " قَدْ أَمَرْنَا لِلنِّسَاءِ بِوَرْسٍ وَأَبَرٍ ، فَأَمَّا الْوَرْسُ فَأَتَاهُنَّ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ ، وَأَمَّا الْأَبَرُ فَأخَذَ مِنْ نَاسٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ مِمَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الْجِزْيَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ وَلَمْ يُضَعِّفْهُ وَلَمْ يُوَثِّقْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Harb bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying on the pulpit on Friday: "We have ordered wars and abar for the women. As for the wars, it came to them from Yemen; and as for the abar, it was taken from some of the people of the dhimmah (protected non-Muslims) out of the jizyah that was due from them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Rabi' bin Ziyad al-Muharibi. Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned him; he neither declared him weak nor declared him trustworthy. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
