The reward of a woman for obeying her husband, looking after his wealth, pregnancy and childbirth

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Some women came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! The men have gained virtue through striving (jihad) in the path of Allah. What deed do we have by which we can reach the deeds of those who strive in the path of Allah? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The care that one of you gives to her home brings her to the deed of the one who strives in the path of Allah.
Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Rawh bin al-Musayyab, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and al-Bazzar declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ibn Hibban and Ibn Adi declared him da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Sallamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the nurse of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), the son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), said: O Messenger of Allah! You have given glad tidings to the men in every respect, but you have not given glad tidings to the women. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Did your companion women send you for this purpose? She said: Yes, they are the ones who told me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Is not one of you women pleased that when she becomes pregnant by her husband while he is pleased with her, she receives a reward like that of one who fasts and stands in prayer in the path of Allah; and when labour pains come upon her, the inhabitants of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth do not know what comfort of the eyes has been kept hidden for her; and when she gives birth, no gulp of her milk comes out and no suck is taken by the child except that for every gulp and every suck she receives a good deed; and if the child keeps her awake at night, she receives the reward of freeing seventy slaves, all of whom she freed in the path of Allah. Sayyidah Sallamah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked: For whom is this reward? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For those women who live in comfort, who are righteous and obedient, and who are not ungrateful to their husbands."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ammar bin Nusayr, whom Ibn Hibban and Salih Jazarah declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sa'id bin Jubayr narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both); the narrator says: I think he narrated it as a marfu' hadith. (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "A woman, from her pregnancy until she gives birth and until she completes (that period), is like one who guards the frontier in the path of Allah; and if she dies during that time, she receives the reward of a martyr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Qays bin al-Rabi', whom Shu'bah and al-Thawri declared thiqah (trustworthy) and others declared da'if (weak). Its chain also contains Ishaq bin Ibrahim al-Dabbi, and I do not know him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have come to you as a representative of the women. Allah Almighty has made jihad obligatory upon the men. If they gain spoils, they are rewarded; and if they are martyred, they are alive with their Lord, being given provision. We women look after them, so what reward will we receive? The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Convey this message to every woman you meet: that obeying the husband and acknowledging his right is equal to that, and few of you are those who do it.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Rishdin bin Kurayb, and he is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman offers her five prayers, fasts in her month (that is, Ramadan), guards her chastity and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Rawwad bin al-Jarrah, whom Ahmad and a group declared thiqah (trustworthy), and a group declared da'if (weak). Yahya bin Ma'in said: He erred in this hadith. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wanting to go out for jihad, while his mother was preventing him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Stay with your mother, for you will receive as much reward by staying with her as you would have received in jihad. Another man came to him and said: I have vowed to sacrifice myself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was occupied, and the man went away and was found slaughtering himself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: All praise belongs to Allah, who has placed in my Ummah people who fulfil their vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread. (Then he asked him:) Do you have wealth? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sacrifice one hundred camels, and do it over three years, because if you do it all at once you will not find anyone to take them from you. Then a woman came to him and said: I have come to you as a representative of the women. Every one of them, whether she has knowledge or not, wished that I should come to you. Allah Almighty is the Lord of both women and men and their God, and you are the Messenger of Allah to both men and women. Allah Almighty has made jihad obligatory upon the men. If they survive it, they gain reward, and if they drink the cup of martyrdom, they are alive with their Lord, where they are given provision. So which of their deeds of obedience is equal to that? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Women obeying their husbands and recognising their rights (is equal to it), and few of you women are those who do it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Rishdin bin Kurayb, and he is da'if (weak).
